That would be a very weak faith.

My point was, grover! appears to be worried about one specific idea causing a loss of faith if/when it proves untrue, whereas I think those same people would lose faith anyway, under the slightest provocation.

(Not that this is any excuse for preaching anything contradicted by Jesus’s actual teachings. A Christian ought to take his warning against leading people away from God’s Word very seriously.)
