Wheat, I’ve wondered, if you can talk about it, what the mood is in the hustings, outside of Beijing and Shanghai, about the Cheeto Benito vs. Kim nuclear thing.

Most of the people I’ve talked to seem unconcerned, but I’m not very clear how much they know about the situation from state media. I would imagine folks in the provinces adjoining North Korea are a bit more concerned, though.

Several Chinese have asked what I think of Trump, which I have answered truthfully. No one has yet told me they think he’s great.
