The criticism directed at Joe and Mika for their behavior in 2016 may be well deserved — but all the media was behaving that way. I think there were orders from corporate management to focus on the Trump show and keep him happy to keep ratings up. CNN would rather have a camera on an empty platform waiting for Trump’s arrival instead of covering an actual Democratic event. CBS Chief Executive Officer Leslie Moonves said of Donald Trump’s presidential run: “It may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS.”

Let’s never forget that NBC created the Trump myth through their reality show The Apprentice. Without that show, Trump would never have gotten the GOP nomination. The 4th Estate — the MSM not Faux News —is responsible for the nightmare we are in today.
