got all set up to jump out of a friends plane…cost nothing, just do as your told…the closer the time came the more anxious I became…heights don’t bother me but jumping off them does but I do it (or did)…so the morning of the jump came and it was windy and rainy, then called off…I was actually relieved not to have to face 10k ft of air beneath me

Started sport jumping in ‘66—the days of iron men and wooden parachutes. My history was spotty because of constant moves, but I did get to jumpmaster a Chinook. Wife has 5 static lines and a freefall, we met when my jump club took over her Army little theater group.
