Signing the pledge is like taking on a political suicide mission. In the general election the left will rightfully point out this pledge insanity. Argue with the old Contract With America all you want, it’s a very sane document by comparison.

The DNC will run ads saying the pledge is the real GOP platform. And that would not be hyperbole. Obama by 15% is what the pledge will accomplish. Okay the economy will still suck so Obama by 12%.
