Ant man is now just Dr Henry Pym. He went from Giant man, to Ant man, to Yellowjacket, and back and forth. Over time, they said his powers damaged him, so he couldn’t change size anymore, but could change the size of other objects, so he could shrink a car down and carry it in his pocket or turn a pebble into a boulder.

Over course his greatest super power was he somehow was married to the Wasp. She didn’t seem to make it into the movie either.

Not to mention that Hank Pym is not the most stable of characters, even when compared to the likes of Tony Stark or Bruce Banner. Not sure that the parents of America would like to explain to Timmy why the “hero” is beating up on his wife.
