Why shouldn’t they be? Whose fucking business is it if they are?

Part of the reason homosexuality wasn’t allowed in the military and government was the potential for blackmail, but the potential goes away when there are no negative repercussions to the truth coming out. Not every person on FF was married, and not all those married were in closed relationships. You can’t blackmail someone if the truth can’t hurt them. So, if anything it’s a national security argument for destigmatizing sexual taboos and embracing no fault divorce. It deprives prudes and shaming trolls of their ability to maintain the toxic environment that blackmail incubates within.
