Update from North Carolina:
Through Tuesday, more than 2.15 million absentee and one-stop votes have been recorded, representing nearly 30 percent of the overall registered voters.
Current percentage breakdown is 43.7 Democratic; 27.5 Republican; 28.5 Unaffiliated.
The total number of votes thus far is more than 45 percent of what was recorded in 2016.
Turnout 4 years ago was 69 percent. A 70 percent turnout this time would mean more than 5.1 million votes will be cast.
NC posts absentee and one-stop votes at the beginning of the Election Day count, so we will have a great idea of how the state is trending early on.
