Moral conundrum: There’s an upcoming provision to help people refinance mortgages. I’m in pretty bad financial shape but I’m probably not in danger of losing my house. If I qualify for bailout help, do I take it? I take advantage of tax write offs, etc. but for some reason I find myself resisting taking advantage of mortgage help. I’m sure if I got desperate enough I’d go for it but my initial reaction is just to get a second job and tough it out. Thoughts?

Tough one KT. All the irresponsible people are going to take the help. Why should the responsible people suffer?
