Chastity is a respectable virtue that’s been abused by the people who talk about it the most, not as a goal for themselves, but as a cover for trying to control what other people do.

I understand. Chastity cannot be enforced; it can only be supported. I am pleading that we stand against the enforcement, but with clarity, so that we do not lapse into standing against the virtue.
