I dearly love that show and, more importantly, so does my son. That vision of the future gives him - a Vietnamese boy with mental health issues growing up in a white America - a certain kind of hope that few stories can. The Vorkosigan books by Lois McMaster Bujold are another set of them. To the point where I can use lines from the books to get him to do something he doesn’t want to do :)
