I think they know they’ll still have sex, but hope it will be with the corrupt leaders of their group rather than their peers.

The more fervent ones really do believe that their brainwashing is so all-powerful that their kids legitimately will never have sex if they aren’t taught anything about it except, “SEX BAD except when you’re married SO DON’T DO IT.” That this will have severe downstream psychological impacts on their kids’ marriages, should they get married, doesn’t seem to occur to them.
