Oh no. No racism there.

It’s a misspelling. And it’s missing a comma. Obviously they meant to say, The White House has a lion, African!

It’s a friendly exhortation to the local African American community to check out the National Zoo.

Why do we assume we know the intent of the sign holder? Why must we insist on playing the race card?
