Of course this is why Hamas and the PA take issue with the comment. It blames the Palestinians and their own decisions for the lack of prosperity. Gaza is not occupied. The Israelis would love to disengage with the Palestinians and the withdrawal from Gaza was the trial balloon for the “land for peace” concept which the Palestinians have soundly rejected by continuing a campaign of terrorism and rocket launches.
