Jesus was the epitome of apolitical. I’ve mentioned this before, but he made a point of actively avoiding the political disputes people tried to trap him with. He’d much rather spend productive time trying to reach the lost than arguing over right-wing vs. left-wing.

Exactly, his message seems to have been about doing right by people. That’s not left or right. That’s about being a good person.
