I will never understand this about young people. For me it would take so much more effort to drag my ass to a rally than to simply make sure I’m registered to vote by mail, take a few minutes to fill out the ballot when it arrives, sign the envelope, slap postage on it and send it back. Voting is so easy here, young people have no excuse for skipping elections.

I would also offer that the people who show up at rallies are a self selecting group. In other words, you can’t use a rally to determine what the entire population is thinking. I would suspect that most who went to a rally voted. But they’re not a good representation of their group.
