Thing to bear in mind is that, in recent days, Donny has not just been beating up on these freshman Dems but also praising Nancy for her comments about how (basically) they’re a bunch of unruly kids who need to sit down and shut up while the adults talk. It’s not really surprising that, emboldened by how the party leadership seems to be throwing shade on these women, he feels comfortable ratcheting up his own attacks against them.
