Mr. Mixon shot the first two cops at the traffic stop with a pistol, shoots them both from inside his car, then stands over their bodies and delivers a final head shot.

Then he ran to his sisters apartment, where he had an AK47 stashed. Two officers follow him to that location, one bangs on the door. Mr. Mixon fired through the door, killing one officer. The other kicks the door down, Mr. Mixon withdrew to a bedroom closet in a far side of the apartment. The 4th officer follows him through a narrow bathroom door, where he is mortally shot. The SWAT team comes in later and kills Mr. Mixon, but only after he got off more than 40 shots.
