re: #1213 Locker

If my inference is mistaken that’s fine but in the very next sentence you go on about “the only people” as if you know what every other person thinks. I’d be happy to listen to you or any other Canadian or person but it makes it much harder when you try to add weight to your argument with “everyone thinks this or that”.

All of your personal insight and experiences, on the other hand, are the very best types of information to share in my opinion. Your stories and information about your family and friends are enlightening.

Your inference IS mistaken.

In many places. First of all I start a new paragraph. With a very safe sentence that “Every adult Canadian has a story to tell”. I don’t think any one has to be able to prove that in order to say it. In the next sentence I say that some Canadians will think the system is GREAT. I then give my opinion on who they might be.

You draw conclusions that have no support. Horrors? I never said horrors.

Canadian have to live with the system we have. It is certainly harder to “un grind” the meat once you have made hamburger. BUT, it is a fact that every year Canadians who can afford it, travel to the USA for health care. (My father did so for a simple hernia operation.) It is a simple fact that people all over the world travel to the USA to get health care they want when they want it.

I have this many times. Cross that street if you have to, BUT look both ways, and only cross when it is safe to so. It is good advice.
