I don’t get that part. Some schools even go so far as to say it is mandatory volunteer service. They don’t even think of how stupid that actually sounds.

I asked an advisor at my sons HS if he could count the hundreds of hours of service time he donated to the community through Boy Scout and Church service projects towards his graduation requirement. I got blank stares.
