In the case of Hewitt, that’s definitely the case. I’ve mentioned before, I knew him (mostly in passing) while in law school, but he has always been the Team R type Republican. He wants his team to win, and sees this as his team picking Johnny Manziel (which is entirely appropriate since he’s from Cleveland and is a Brows fan.
