I’d say this is correct because we know that John Lewis paid his dues fighting for the civil rights of all Americans, and it almost cost him his life while Cornel West is a whole lot of talk but not much action. I hope he starts some sh*t at the Democratic National Convention and gets smacked down by Barney Frank. It would be a sight to behold.

He really did. John Lewis and a lot of the other older progressives that have backed Clinton are men and women who are staunchly liberal but they’re willing to take the victories they can get. I’m different from many my age that I have that bent rather than the idealistic one. Take ACA for example, I do wish it was more extensive but I am also glad that because of ACA that pre-existing conditions can no longer be used to deny people.
