Donald Trump is using the LBJ tactic of accusing your opponent of having carnal knowledge of a pig. He has been doing it the whole time since he ran for office.

The Trump tweak of this tactic is that he always accuses his opponents of something that he has actually done. This serves the double purpose of:

1. Deflecting attention away from him.
2. Promoting the bogus notion that “Everybody does it!”
