One of the biggest problems with the right these days is that there is no one out there who can distance the movement from the fringe.

In the old days, you had William F Buckley who had the guts to say in print that the John Birchers and Ayn Rands of the world were kooks and had no place in the conservative movement.

We need someone today with that kind of credibility who will come out and say that the Andrew Breitbarts and Glen Becks of the world are loons.
