True, true. “I’m just a politically incorrect person, don’t call me a bigot because I don’t accept political correctness” pretty much the excuse of any right winger called out for bigotry.

Many years ago an acquaintance of mine went on an utterly unhinged racist rant, and when she saw I was getting pissed off, she used the “Sorry, I guess I’m just politically incorrect sometimes.”

To which I replied, “No, you’re just an asshole.”
