No way he ran up $2.5 million in attorneys’ fees for that case. Was his defense expensive? Of course. $2.5 million? Not a chance.
Wiki says that OJ’s defense ran $3 million to $6 million. He had a lot more attorneys that had far higher profiles (even recognizing that inflation and whatnot would change that number dramatically).
2.5 million is booze, cars, clothes and entertainment? This guy is a meglomaniac—he thinks he owns the world and has a license to kill.
