I’m not sure the Bernie-bots have given much thought to where the money would come from for Bernie’s big ideas. He hopes to get it from the richest people, but realistically, it would come out of the pockets of the middle class, or his programs would die in Congress.

In reality, if Sanders were the nominee the GOP would control the House and his progressive agenda would be DOA. If Hillary wins and Trump is the GOP nominee, then there is now a slim chance for a Democratic House. So there is a better chance for progressive change with Hillary as the nominee than with Sanders. I’m liberal, but I live in the real world, and I know the limits of Presidential power. The President has to have coattails to bring Congress with him, and Hillary at the center can reach voters that a socialist like Bernie would scare off.
