TPM fell for the media hoax…

They are still sticking to the bogus headline that there was some sort of massive disagreement. There wasn’t. It was all manufactured by press coverage.

Netanyahu had a choice, and he chose to cynically misrepresent (lie about) the President’s proposal by omission, and behind the scenes it did infuriate the administration. TPM is saying that Netanyahu exploited the media hoax, which is absolutely true.
