Steve- I think Teh Stupid has always been there. 100 is the *average* IQ in the US. What has changed, seems to me, is the number and range of resources for disseminating stupidity and the increasing number of stupid people listening. Charles’ post is atypical of this. It is directed toward thinking people who understand and appreciate complexity and nuance.
