It really seems like you’re conflating family annihilation with honor killing. Family annihilation— and murder in general— is disturbingly prevalent in the US. Our murder rate is higher than many Islamic countries. So if you’re talking about the behavior of killing families, we’ve got that, if you’re talking about the behavior of murder, we’ve got that, too, in bucketloads.

The abundance of papers, books ongoing research and even human rights, efforts, women’s rights and political rights endeavors from both within and without those countries are meaningless.
