But seriously, fuck these people. Julian Castro sounds just like any other Mexican-American kid here in Texas who grew up speaking Spanish. I should know, because I am one.

My paternal grandmother could speak English, Ukrainian, Polish and German fluently. I can barely speak one language. My dad knows just a smidgen of those other languages. Languages don’t always survive a new country.
