The hell with Rush Limbaugh - I’m starting to wonder if the man is rather like god (being required to invent one if one didn’t exist)!

My personal opinion is, having gone from one year in which I made (gulp!) $10,300 to the next year, in which I made $19,700, that hard work and a steady income change everything, if you’ve got half a brain and some self-discipline.

Well, WSJ feels that way too - when I read them on the issue of “executive compensation” it turns me right into a Gramscian whore.

However, the fight is more about the distribution of income between the middle and upper classes - the middle class being slowly wiped from the US social map, in favor of a somewhat more comfortable lower class and a slightly enlarged upper class. At least, that’s my summary of the situation.
