I’ve been binge-watching “The Americans”, so you can imagine where my mind instantly went….

What Phillip and Elizabeth do to ordinary, innocent working people in the course of their espionage is damned horrifying. Every time you are tempted to view them sympathetically, Elizabeth murders another person working late in the office or Phillip is stuffing some computer nerd into a dumpster.
