My stuttering is mild compared to many, but it is something lifelong. The folks saying “this is going to be some excuse from now until November” don’t seem to get that.

I haven’t been paying a whole lot of attention to the nonsense they’re spreading, but it does bother me.

I’m the same in conversation in that unless you knew me really well it’s not likely you’d discover I have a mild stutter. My avoidance is primarily leaning on a very large vocabulary. I was once accused of being gay because of the way I speak. I found that to be a strange association: “You know too many words, you must be gay!”
