If he’s an actual elementary school teacher I doubt he wants the children armed.

I remember a little ditty we used to sing as kids:

Mine eyes have seen the horror of the burning of the school
We have tortured every teacher, we have broken every rule
(it gets worse, you can Google it)

A kid would get expelled for singing it today.
