I know wrench. I’m just cautioning that some people not think age and whiteness makes you a tea drinking, stick in the mud, bigoted asswipe.

And there are cliches to fight. You know it is common for many to think that young people are always liberal and when they get some stuff and get older they grow-up, get smart and become conservatives.

I’m probably more liberal now than when I was in college. Even though I am from a historically union democrat background, I always claimed to be centrist. With these idiots growing more idiotic, they have driven me to being more democrat social liberal than ever before.

And I’m not blaming or pissed at Lidane and GeneJockey. I just want to make sure we all stay sharp and not make the cliched big grouping statements. That is what they are doing at the Value Voters Summit.

I was always liberal myself, but as I’ve grown older, I’ve become EVEN MORE liberal. But there’s a big difference between observing that the vast majority of Teabaggers are older white folks and saying that older white folks are Teabaggers.

The age and racial makeup of the Tea Party is not just a random correlation. It is an important part of why the Tea Party came into existence - it is the defender of white privilege, as experienced by white people of my generation and older.
