finding a democrat to blame everything on absolves them of responsibility or any further understanding of finance and securitized mortgage instruments or anything so case closed no further analysis necessary

remember, if you can find a democrat to blame, nothing further is required of you

They like blaming Tip O’Neill for Reagan’s fuck ups. Nevermind that Reagan actually had to sign anything that Tip would have passed and Reagan actually had a GOP senate for most of his presidency and there were plenty of conservative Dems that helped balance out the Dem majority in the House. People like that just can’t bring themselves to admit Republican fuck ups or if they do, they blame it on the Dems.
