Cheney’s speach today, it’s been said “why couldn’t the Bush administration make speaches like that while they were in office?”

I did manage to torture! myself with a little NPR earlier today. The message: Obama is wise and thoughtful about the Gitmo issue, Cheney is a monster, the American people are too dumb to understand Obama’s wise thoughtfulness. No surprises, that is to say.

Funny thing is, Bush and Obama have basically the same policies. That “domestic spying” is still going on. So is Gitmo.
