I live in a little podunk county in the hills of northeast TN and you should see the incredible counterfeit bills, $20, $50, $100. Stunningly well done.

Modern copying machines and scanners are very good. I dropped the dime on some neighbors of mine that were printing their own money. Seemed like a good plan up until the point that they started putting the rejects out with the regular paper recycle. I gave the evidence to a pal who is in the FBI. They tend to take a rather dim view of that sort of thing.
