Of course the story, originally linked from FB, tried to spin the story as some nefarious anti-gun move. But once you read 3/4 of the way down you see real reason:

I applaud Suntrust for cutting ties with such vultures.

It’s good they aren’t dealing with vultures, but Suntrust needs to better train its customer service people. The “gun letters” remark was the remark of an employee who had not been properly instructed as to what the situation was and how to respond to customer inquiries. And those remarks may yet cost Suntrust business because they’ll be bounced around the net as “proof of what Suntrust is really up to!”

The moral of the story: Failure to prepare is preparing to FAIL.
