Other things they had in common beyond easy access to massive firepower: these people were socially marginalized, had violent natures and an enormous chip on their shoulders: against blacks, gays, liberated women or Planned Parenthood. Or just an incoherent rage that they took out on the most vulnerable and available target.

Was the Newtown shooting done with an AR-15 as well? IIRC there were several guns involved, but I thought that was the main one.
