Pavlovitz captured a lot of what I am feeling.

Now, more than ever, good and tired people need to cultivate community, to stay connected to our tribes of affinity, and to carry one another through the fatigue when it comes.

At the beginning of the MAGA scourge a group of neighbors started to actively promote community engagement. We had Happy Hours and formed a Welcome committee to engage new neighbors. It helped us get through those years, plus really came in handy during CV-19.
The continuing unhinged actions of so many continues to wear on me. It is not over, so I am settling in for the long haul.
