I was surprised to learn that libertarians hate Lincoln. Instapundit once linked to an article attempting to smear Obama by likening him to Lincoln.

Now there’s a first. Usually I’ve seen praise for Obama by comparing him to Lincoln — not that I think it makes much sense. But to smear him by comparing him to Lincoln is beyond absurd. Then again we have been seeing a great deal of “the theater of the absurd” in recent months.
