Ed Brayton over at Culture Wars has posted possibly the stupidest Michele Bachmann quote ever.

Well, President Obama is trying to bind the United States into a global economy where all of our nations come together in a global economy.

Really? How shocking! You mean like exporting goods or services to other countries for them to buy and importing goods or services from other countries that we buy?

I’m sorry I had thought that we were doing that even before the Declaration of Independence was signed, I didn’t realize that Obama was the one who invented it.

I had thought that that was called the “Free Market Economy” that has been a Republican talking point going back for at least 30 years. I guess I must be mistaken though, because apparently now it is a socialistic NWO plot!
