Americans (USA) of all stripes have more in common than we sometimes admit or even see. An outsider watching two Americans argue over which local style of BBQ is better (and grilling out isn’t BBQ Yankees) would have a hard time distinguishing the separate cultural influences that the insiders can distinguish.
