Yep. I’ve seen it happen before. I’ve almost gotten sucked into it a few times but avoided it. There’s a lot of crazy people on the internet. An oft repeated theme. Some of the people that have been victims become predators themselves. Others have come from the old days of USENET with their own personal following of stalkers. Some of them have continuing feuds that have lasted well over 5 years. Sometimes all it takes is one off hand comment to get their attention. By then it’s too late and they latch onto you like a madman.

Yep. The anonymity, I think, makes it easier for people to project weird perceptions onto others, whether positive or negative. Cree. Pee.
