Hi All..So my car was encased in ice today despite my efforts through the night..To limit the ice..
So..It’s cold, the wind is howling and I’m trying to chip the ice off my car..I was pissed..Couldn’t even open the door…It was a hopeless scene.
A young Neighbor saw me and came over.. This young stud Okie Student just destroyed the ice..He banged on the ice and used his fingers to rip off sheets of thick ice..Like a man possessed..His fingers dug into ice as he laughed showing me the proper way to de-ice a car..It was surreal and over in a few minutes..I got into my car and started it up and got warm..Sitting off campus at OU..Anything can happen..I’ll miss that…Which brings to this point. With some unexpected help I was set to drive into Norman during the first quarter of the OU game. Not a soul in sight..I ran all my errands with no waits at all.. CVS, Wal-Mart, Brauns ect..Nobody was on the streets at all..So I think it’s been a great day, Got home at halftime and we won the game. Ice Storms continue..We snack praying the net stays up..Picking a movie…mmm Have some I’ve never watched..At least if my car gets more covered in ice I can have the Hulk rip off sheets of ice from the car declaring that he hasn’t felt his fingers for 20 minutes..
