They want to leave, but they have nowhere to go; and a restraining order isn’t going to stop an angry drunk husband who wants revenge and is familiar enough with courts and prisons not to care.

True, sadly true. Here, we have had a paper do stories on the DV shelter house, but they have never published photos, because they don’t want to give any clue to the abusers as to where it is.
