That passage is the ONE PASSAGE in the WHOLE BIBLE that is not to be taken literally.

RWNJ Christians have to discard most of the Sermon on the Mount as well. In fact, the Christ of the bible falls short of RWNJ perfection in many vexing ways. The obvious answer is to rewrite the bible, of course.
