This New Yorker cover is everything to me right now.

Yesterday I was creating an assignment about Immigrants in the 1920s and was watching part of the PBS documentary The Jewish American. Guess who made several appearances - the notorious RBG.

I ended up using about 20 minutes of the doc that included a discussion about college quotas in the 1920s in the assignment. One really interesting tidbit was that colleges put quotas on the number of Jewish students they would accept and not Catholics or African Americans because there were so many Jewish applicants (far more than any other non-white or non-Protestant groups).
